Hatteras Networks was named one of the top 10 start-up companies that made presentations at the “Network Outlook” private equity conference last week in San Francisco.
In all, 79 companies made presentations. Only 10 received an “Investors’ Choice” award. Selections were made by more than 300 entrepreneurs, investors and industry executives who attended.
The conference was sponsored by Technologic Partners, which is the publisher of Venture Wire.
“Hatteras Networks is a classic example of how innovation is alive and well within the telecommunications industry’s start-up community,” said Richard Shaffer, editor-in-chief of Venture Wire.
Hatteras Network is focused on last-mile high-speed Ethernet products for broadband services. The company recently named Pete Savage as its chief executive officer.
