SpectraSite’s latest wireless network initiative is helping shoppers and gamblers get online or use their cell phones.
The wireless tower company announced Tuesday it now has completed installation of systems inside nine malls and nine Las Vegas casinos. SpectraSite also said it would completed installations of networks in “a significant number of additional in-building installations” through the first half of the year.
The malls include The Fashion Center at Pentagon City in Virginia, four malls in new Jersey, three in New York and The Forum Shops at Caesars in Las Vegas.
The nine casinos include Caesars Palace, Paris, Bally’s, MGM Mirage, Bellagio, New York New York, Treasure Island, Golden Nugget and MGC Grand.
The distributed antenna systems can support up to seven wireless carriers.
