Misys Healthcare Systems will provide a clinical IT solution for Heritage Medical Associates in Nashville, TN.
Some 36 physicians and 200 users will utilize the Misys solution for flexible electronic medical records keeping. The selection process took two years and included reviews of some 100 products, Misys said in a statement.
Fifty clinical staff members evaluated products from nine different vendors and also conducted real-time comparisons of various products. The original request for proposal, which drew responses from 12 companies, included about 1,000 questions.
