Velant Names Marketing Director

Velant, a provider of transportation planning solutions, has a new director of marketing.

He is Allan Hess, who formerly served as president of Tessera Resources LLC, a marketing consulting firm in Atlanta. Hess also spent 18 years at IBM and was involved in e-commerce applications at Manhattan Associates and Fortis Insurance.
