CT Communications Improves Revenues

CONCORD,CT Communications, a telecommunications company, reported net income of $7.5 million, or 40 cents per share, for 2002.

The company (Nasdaq: CTCI) reported a $500,000 profit, or 2 cents per share, in 2001.

Operating revenue hit $148.1 million, up more than $12 million or 9 percent from the previous year. CT Communications earned $2.4 million, or 13 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2002.

The company did downsize its web operations and ceased a fixed wireless operation in Fayetteville.
