VistaScape Technology Corp., responding to increasing demand for providing additional means of security, is incorporating infrared imaging.
Working with FLIR Systems, VistaScape said the infrared capability would be included in its security data management system. The move provides an “object detection solution” for homeland security, counter-terrorism and force protection applications, according to the company.
VistaScape’s system is geared for protecting borders, harbors, coastlines and other perimeters. Based on Microsoft .NET, it gathers data from a variety of different sensors in multiple locations and compiles it in a single web-based user interface.
