Alan Spurgin is replacing Thomas Vertin as manager for Silicon Valley Bank’s Southeast operations.
Vertin recently was promoted to head of specialty for SVB.
SVB’s southeast region includes offices in Atlanta, Research Triangle Park and West Palm Beach, FL. He also oversaw the Reston, VA office.
Spurgin, with 15 years of experience in banking and corporate finance, joined SVB three years ago. He has worked in the Atlanta office with responsibilities for business development and client relationship management in the Atlanta area and surrounding states.
