Dragon Empires, a multiplayer on-line role-playing game, is in development for the PC and will include NDL’s 3-D graphics game engine.
More than 90,000 people already play the game online. It was developed by Codemasters.
The PC version will include political and economic controls as well as head-to-head combat with scenes and scenarios set in 50 cities.
“NDL’s 3-D graphics toolkit allows us to quickly and efficiently add new objects and graphical features into the game environment,” said Ted Carron, producer for the game, in a statement. “Because of this, our development team has been able to spend more time creating an environment that is both unique and compelling. After a tremendous amount of planning and implementation, we have created a universe unlike anything else online today.”
