CARY,A4 Health Systems says it has been profitable since the first quarter of last year and cites increasing demand for electronic medical records as a primary reason.
Revenues from A4’s Healthmatics EMR system climbed 44 percent last year, and the number of deployments at physician practices increased by almost 70 percent, A4 says in a statement.
The company is privately held and did not disclose specific financial information. It has offices in Cary, Michigan and Texas and employs more than 200 people.
