Closure Medical closed 2002 with earnings of 13 cents per share and a 13-percent increase in revenues to $6.8 million over the previous year, the company announced Friday morning.

Closure ended the year with 36 cents per share earnings on revenues of $23.7 million, nearly $4 million more than in 2001.

Driving revenues were increased sales of Dermabond adhesive and Band-Aid Brand Liquid Bandage, which was launched in April.
