Ascot Technologies has introduced a new software product designed to help nursing students gather more data about their experiences.
AscotNP version 1.1 operates on the Palm operating system and allows nursing students to collect data digitally rather than by hand. Instructors then use the data in evaluation of students and preparing them for other duties, Ascot said in a statement.
“Collecting this data on a Palm saves time and allows us to analyze trends in nursing education and the community,” said Dr. Theresa Grado of Binghamton University.
