Sam Richter, president of the internationally recognized James J. Hill Reference Library, will deliver the keynote address at the Conference on Entrepreneurship on Feb. 22.

The Library is much more than a traditional library. Located in St. Paul, MN, it is an independent, non-profit business research organization that was founded in 1921. James J. Hill and his family were entrepreneurs who helped drive business in the Northwest.

Richter will discuss with entrepreneurs means of competing with larger corporations. His them is: “Is your business consultant some Yahoo named Google?”, referring to web sites and search engines Yahoo! and Google.

Richter has worked with major corporations, such as Coca-Cola, 3M, National Geographic and Major League Baseball.

TEC, or The Executive Committee, International is sponsoring Richter’s appearance.

The conference will take place at NCSU’s McKimmon Center.
