v3 Systems continues on its winning streak.

The privately held supply chain and inventory management software firm says it closed 2002 with a positive cash flow for the fifth consecutive year. V3, which didn’t disclose specific results, also says it expanded its customer base.

V3 closed on $11.5 million in venture capital from Draper Atlantic Management, SpaceVest and Updata Venture Partners in August.

Because V3 is cash-flow positive, Ashley Campbell, the form’s president and chief executive officer, says the venture money will be used for expansion purposes.

“This has given us the unique opportunity to allocate our recent $11.5 million venture capital round for creating innovative product extensions, growing our global sales and marketing teams, and making our support and implementation teams second to none in the industry,” Campbell says.
