MYRTLE BEACH,UniTrends Software Corp., a developer of enterprise-wide cross-platform data protection products and services, says it has established formal reselling relationships with an additional 45 top-tier storage-centric channel partners.

Previously, UniTrends disclosed a strategy of building a nationwide distribution channel for its line of data storage software and hardware products, including its BareMetal Plus software suite, and its DPU data protection hardware appliance.

Each of the channel partners, signed since UniTrends’ new reseller program was announced in early August, was specifically targeted for their expertise in helping customers design efficient and cost-effective solutions to their data storage challenges.

They include companies like USI Corporation, a provider of storage solutions for the UNIX, Windows and Linux markets, based in Chicago; ARKAY Storage Solutions, a supplier of open systems data storage solutions, with offices in Ohio, Florida and South Carolina; and Wenzel Data Storage Solutions, a storage solution provider based in Stillwater, MN.

UniTrends officials said the Myrtle Beach-based company, founded in 1987, continues to establish relationships with other storage-centric channel partners.

“We are focused on expanding our ability to market our product line through companies that understand the constantly growing data storage needs of their customers,” Eric Williams, UniTrends’ worldwide channels manager, said in a statement. “Their ability to recommend specific solutions that deliver value and implement those solutions in a way that saves time and money is a true benefit; we’re proud to work with companies like them.”
