InterCerve, which markets an e-mail marketing program called nTarget, has hired a new executive.

John Kirk will be director of business development for nTarget, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Kirk was director of news business development for Burke Gibson, Inc., a point of purchase display manufacturer.

Such companies as Biltmore Estates, Cracker Barrel, Goody’s Family Clothing, Michigan Tourism, North Carolina Tourism, and Wal-Mart Portrait Studios already use nTarget.
