RF Micro, which acquired Resonext Communications last year to move into the growing wireless network market, now has more product stemming from the deal.
The first shipments of 802.11a wireless local area network chips have been sent, RF Micro (Nasdaq: RFMD) said in a release Tuesday. RF Micro said shipments will “ramp” in March and are expected to “accelerate through the calendar year.”
RF Micro also has supply agreements in place with two firms.
