Malcolm Collins, a senior executive with Nortel Networks for 10 years, is taking over as head of the company’s Enterprise Networks, which has its headquarters in RTP.
Collins replaces Frank Plastina, who resigned in October.
At that time, Nortel split the Metro and Enterprise Division, which Plastina directed, into two divisions — Enterprise and Wireline.
Collins previously was Nortel’s senior executive for the United Kingdom and Northern European region.
