Bentley Communications Corporation (OTCBB: BTLY) says that it has finalized its previously announced acquisition of Kryptosima LLC.

Kryptosima, founded in January 2000, has developed what it says is the first payment gateway designed to enable Internet merchants to accept consumer payments via ATM Card transactions, and is working with marketing partners and payment networks to roll the service out early next year.

Bentley’s focus is on the implementation of services such as Internet payments via an ATM/Debit card from home or office, and online purchasing of securities, using Kryptosima’s payENKRYPT system.

“We are pleased to announce the completion of this important step toward building a successful transaction processing company,” Harry Hargens, president and chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Bentley, said in a statement. “As previously announced — the completion of this transaction was subject to an audit of Kryptosima’s financials.”

Hargens said that audit was completed late last week, making it possible to finalize the acquisition. Data from the audit, he said would be used to prepare a revised 8k containing the required pro-forma financials.
