Commercial real estate brokerage firm MetaPartners is forming an affiliation with Insignia/ESG Inc., a New York-based provider of commercial real estate services.

MetaPartners is part of Insignia’s nationwide program to forge alliances in select markets with leading independent real estate services companies.

James Ledbetter, executive vice president of Insignia/ESG’s Southeast Region, noted there are strong ties between MetaPartners and Insignia/ESG’s Atlanta office, as well as the other offices, particularly in markets with heavy high-tech and biotechnology concentrations like Boston, Silicon Valley and several countries in Europe.

“Allying with MetaPartners is certain to provide a two-way stream of business into and out of the Research Triangle area,” Ledbetter said in a statement.

Founded in 2000, MetaPartners has 14 employees, including eight brokerage professionals, engaged in a broad range of real estate transactional and consulting services. In addition to the Research Triangle, the firm provides coverage of markets throughout North Carolina.
