How do you create long-term value for your company? How do you move down a path of strategic diversification?

In “Build Value through Strategic Acquisition,” Stephen Zelnak, chairman and chief executive officer of Martin Marietta Materials, will attempt to answer these questions at the next meeting of the RTP chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (RTP-ACG).

Zelnak has been involved in more than fifty acquisitions since joining the company in 1981. He will talk about the growth strategies that have made Martin Marietta the second largest producer of crushed stone, sand and gravel in the United States.

As keynote speaker for the RTP-ACG, Zelnak will explain Martin Marietta’s strategy of growth through acquisition to drive its core business…and Martin Marietta’s expansion through the strategic identification of new business lines.

The meeting begins at 7:30 AM and lasts until 9 AM on Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Sheraton Imperial RTP.
