AaiPharma says it expects per-share earnings of $1.17 to $1.22 and revenue of $230 million to $235 million for 2002, up more than 20 percent over estimates at the beginning of the year.
This estimate was raised from January guidance at which time AaiPharma, a pharmaceutical services company, projected per-share earnings of 75 cents to 80 cents for the year and revenue of $185 million to $190 million.
The Wilmington, NC-based company expects 2003 per-share earnings of $1.48 to $1.53 and revenue of $270 million to $275 million.
Last year, aaiPharma earned 32 cents per share on revenue of $141.1 million.
