MercuryMD, a company that integrates hospital data and delivers patient information to clinicians’ handheld devices, has made an agreement with VHA Inc., a nationwide network of community-owned healthcare systems.
Under this agreement, VHA’s 2,200 members will be offered MercuryMD’s MData Enterprise System…a mobile patient data delivery system that allows hospitals to enhance patient care, decrease medical errors, and shorten length of stay.
The relationship between VHA of Irving, TX, and RTP-based MercuryMD allows VHA members to not only receive MData at a negotiated price, but also minimizes the arduous and time-intensive due diligence process of selecting a technology vendor, the company says.
“VHA is an outstanding organization that provides valuable solutions that solve hospital member needs,” Alan Ying, chief executive officer of MercuryMD, said in a statement. “We are extremely pleased to be selected by VHA to offer mobile technology solutions to their members.”
