Peak 10, Inc., a Data Center Services provider in the Southeast, reported that its Charlotte Data Center is now cash flow positive.

Peak 10 provides a full range of hosting, storage, security and disaster recovery solutions to businesses. The company operates four enterprise class data centers in Charlotte, Jacksonville, Tampa, and most recently in Raleigh. It plans to open a fifth data center in 2003.

“We are pleased to achieve positive EBITDA in Charlotte,” Brian Noonan, chief financial officer of Peak 10, said in a statement. “There are very few companies in our industry that have sustained this operating momentum.”

Noonan attributes Charlotte’s EBITDA to exponential top-line revenue growth, disciplined cost management, and extra attention to customers.

“We stay closely attuned to the financial side of our business and apply the majority of our investment towards products and services that our customers require,” continued Noonan. “This customer-centric strategy has differentiated us in Charlotte and will continue to differentiate us in each of the markets we serve.”

Peak 10’s enterprise clients include Wachovia, Allstate, Jefferson Pilot Communications and the City of Charlotte.

With this continued growth in revenue and profits, Peak 10 says it plans to be free cash flow positive in Charlotte by the end of this year and expects the positive financial performance to accelerate in its three other markets as well.
