Movaz Networks, a provider of optical networking solutions, has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract from Japanese network system integrator Vic Tokai Inc.
In addition to offering enterprise customers a range of broadband services including DSL and CATV, Vic Tokai can also provide network solutions encompassing support and integration capabilities.
Movaz, based in Atlanta, has been selected by Vic Tokai as the exclusive supplier for the expansion of its existing optical fiber network infrastructure between Tokyo and Nagoya.
The Vic Tokai contract was established through a strategic relationship between Movaz and Netmarks, a distributor and systems integrator in Japan.
To further cement the partnership, Netmarks has also made a strategic funding investment in Movaz. Terms were not disclosed.
