Global Knowledge has been selected as a winner in the Training and Certification category of the Windows & .NET Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards.

Global Knowledge won three out of four awards, including selection as the readers’ choice in boot camps. The camps are designed to help students get up to speed with Windows 2000.

Cary-based Global Knowledge also received the most votes from readers for its Web-based training courses. These courses enable students to work in real time on real equipment with the ability to avoid traveling.

Lastly, readers chose Global Knowledge’s Instructor-Led Training programs, developed to provide in-house courses using instructional design techniques to ensure vendor neutrality and to reflect the real challenges faced when deploying Windows 2000.

“The Windows & .NET Magazine Readers’ Choice Award validates Global Knowledge’s position as a leading training provider in the eyes of IT professionals,” Tammy Ho, Global Knowledge product manager, said in a statement. “It underscores our commitment to provide best of breed training programs that meet the rich and complex needs of corporations worldwide.”

Readers were asked to vote on their product preferences in 16 broad technology categories. More than 2,300 readers voted on nearly 90 technology products.
