SAS has won a multi-year contract worth $18 million with the US Department of Agriculture, the software company announced today.

Under the enterprise license deal, which lasts through Sept. 30, 2006, the USDA gets what SAS described as “unlimited access” to a number of SAS products.

In a statement, SAS said: “The agreement gives the USDA the flexibility to deploy SAS technology on all hardware platforms supported by SAS when and where the department needs it to meet its mission.”
