AirDefense has reached a partnership agreement where Vigilar will resell, deploy and support its wireless LAN intrusion detection and security appliance to a customer base of enterprise businesses across the country.
AirDefense’s Partner Program provides select channel partners with training and sales tools. As part of the channel partner agreement, Vigilar will provide its customers with training and managed services for the AirDefense product line.
“Our partnership with Vigilar provides a great opportunity for AirDefense to provide wireless LAN intrusion protection and security to enterprise businesses by working with established security experts,” Jay Chaudhry, chief executive officer of AirDefense, said in a statement.
Vigilar is an information security services firm dedicated to providing solutions that manage risk and create trust through the delivery of technology controls, education and process development. Vigilar is headquartered in Atlanta, where AirDefense also is based.
AirDefense provides security for wireless LANs with its patent-pending technology for monitoring and intrusion protection. AirDefense’s Multi-Dimensional Detection Engine analyzes threats to identify security breaches based on analysis, policy compliance, protocol assessment and statistically anomalous behavior.
