RALEIGH … Venture capital dealings closed out October with the same whimper they held onto for most of the month in North Carolina, with just one deal completed during the final week. Waveguide Solutions obtained an undisclosed amount in its third funding round.

Sources say a number of deals are in the works, but it’s unclear how close any of them are to becoming reality.

So far this year, more than $363 million in venture financing has been raised by 51 Tar Heel tech firms, for an average deal size of $7.1 million. Here is LocalTechWire’s exclusive list of deals in the state, ranked according to the amount raised:
