Sanswire Technologies (OTC: SNWR) says it has struck a partnership with Telesphere Communications and will proceed with plans to deploy a nation-wide wireless network.

According to Sanswire, the network will be based on the 802.11 protocol and is intended to provide high-speed wireless Internet access.

Sanswire already provides wireless connectivity in Atlanta, Seattle, Spokane and Boise. When the network is completed, Sanswire said coverage will extend into parts of Canada and Mexico.

“Our plan from day one has been to build a national wireless network and by working with Telesphere and their revolutionary product, it will now become a reality,” said Sanswire Chief Executive Officer Michael Molen in a statement.

Telesphere, which is based in Canada, specializes in wireless and so-called fixed data systems.
