RALEIGH … A brief bit of venture rain brought some green to North Carolina’s technology landscape last week, as three firms closed on more than $20 million combined.

In the first deal of the month in the state, Charlotte logistics software developer Elogex closed on $17 million … the largest deal in the Queen City this year. That was followed by a $4 million addition to a round wireless software firm Pinpoint Networks initially closed in April and an undisclosed second round landed by branded e-mail software company FullSeven Technologies.

So far this year, more than $363 million in venture financing has been raised by 50 Tar Heel tech firms, for an average deal size of $7.2 million. Here is LocalTechWire’s exclusive list of deals in the state, ranked according to the amount raised:
