Huntington Willard is the director of the Duke University Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy.
Willard, a Ph.D., currently is president and director of the University Hospitals of Cleveland research institute.
R. Sanders Williams, dean of the Duke medical school, called Willard “one of America’s premier geneticists.”
The $200 million institute was created in 2000.
