NORCROSS, Ga. — ProSys Information Systems and Optimus Solutions, providers of information technology solutions, have been named among the “25 Rising Stars” by CRN Magazine.

ProSys saw revenue increase by 147 percent, from $49 million to $121 million, over the past three years, placing the company 13th on the list. Optimus was right behind in 14th, with 140 percent revenue growth since 1999, from $42 million to $101 million.

“We found ways to rapidly grow our business by aligning ourselves with key business partners, supporting new types of products and developing consulting practice areas that support customer IT goals,” President and Chief Executive Mark Metz said in a statement. “We also capitalized on the market’s need for server consolidation, leasing and rental services.”

Optimus has 116 employees and counts IBM, Hitachi and Oracle among its key partners. ProSys employs 145 and teams with Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, Microsoft and others in targeting the government and education markets.

CRN Magazine’s “25 Rising Stars” represent the fastest-growing solutions providers across the country. To qualify, companies had to meet eligibility criteria on the number of employees, length of business operations and financial revenue growth. Magazine editors evaluated more than 100 solution providers, and the final ranking is determined solely on sales growth between 1999 and 2001.
