ATLANTA … Silverpop Systems, a provider of e-mail marketing and customer communication solutions, and The Bombay Company (Nasdaq: BBA), a specialty retailer that markets classic and traditional furniture, prints and accessories, announced the successful launch of Bombay’s new e-mail program.

Officials with Bombay, which operates over 420 retail stores in the United States and Canada, say the company is seeing solid growth in online sales as part of an expanded multi-channel retailing strategy, and Silverpop’s solution was a solid fit with the company’s growing e-commerce operations.

Using Silverpop, Bombay was able to quickly and easily design and execute e-mail campaigns to drive sales and increase awareness for the new e-commerce program. Additionally, Bombay intends to fully integrate its e-mail lists and tracking data with the new e-commerce website later this year.
