Trinity Convergence, a developer of integrated VoIP enabling software for converged network equipment, has incorporated dynamicsoft’s Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) User Agent into its VeriCall.
SIP is an industry standard protocol that enables person-to-person and peer-to-peer communications over IP networks. With a widely commercially deployed SIP stack, dynamicsoft is a provider of SIP-based software solutions and enhanced communications based in East Hanover, NJ.
By incorporating and pre-integrating call control for IP networks into VeriCall, Raleigh-based Trinity provides telecommunications equipment manufacturers with this functionality as part of its VeriCall VoIP enabling software. dynamicsoft’s SIP User Agent is available as part of VeriCall release 2.0, which began shipping to customers in September.
“SIP is rapidly becoming the standard for call control in the next-generation network,” David Brown, vice president of engineering at Trinity said in a statement. “Not only is SIP the 3G Wireless industry standard, but it is also the key for delivering voice, video, and presence applications on all IP wireline networks. Accordingly, Trinity wanted to provide its customers with the access to the best technology possible. That is clearly dynamicsoft, and its SIP User Agent is now available to OEMs as part of our fully integrated VeriCall software.”
