Paul Biemer, chief scientist for survey methodology research at the Research Triangle Institute, has been appointed to the Odum Institute for Research in Social Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Biemer will now serve as associate director for survey research at the Odum Institute. He will teach graduate courses in the Joint Program on Survey Methods, which is being funded by the National Science Foundation.

Some of Biemer’s other duties will include looking for research and grant opportunities that could create collborations between RTI and Odum.
