HydroFlo, an environmental technology company in the global wastewater treatment field, is expanding its export market with the addition of Philippines-based distributor SystemNomics Inc.
This addition is the newest step in HydroFlo’s global and national expansion strategy through agreements with independent manufacturer’s representatives, the company says.
“Our latest partnership with SystemNomics — reflects our company’s successful marketing outreach and tremendous growth,” HydroFlo President Tom Barbee said in a statement. “Our innovative wastewater systems are available in North America, Europe, and now in the Philippines. In the future, we will continue to respond to interest expressed for our systems throughout the world.”
SystemNomics will distribute HydroFlo’s wastewater treatment systems to local governments and large industries throughout the Philippines. HydroFlo’s system begins conditioning waste in the pipeline conveyance system while it is in route to the treatment plant by introducing oxygen into the system. Starting the process before the waste reaches the plant makes the treatment process more efficient, extends the life of the collection and conveyance systems, eliminates odor and enables the wastewater treatment plant to process more waste at less cost, HydroFlo says.
Founded in 1999, Raleigh-based HydroFlo develops aeration equipment for wastewater treatment and holds the worldwide patent rights on new energy-saving wastewater treatment technology. The company says this technology provides the first new processes in the last ten years for the wastewater treatment industry.
