RALEIGH … Another week, another five business days pass with little activity in North Carolina’s venture capital community.

Just two deals were announced last week: Raleigh biotech firm Encelle raised $4 million, while Ziptronix, a semiconductor packaging firm in Research Triangle Park, obtained $3.5 million. Worth noting, however, is that both companies expect to add to those totals before the end of the year after lining up more investors who didn’t make these initial closings.

So far this year, $325 million in venture financing has been raised by 46 Tar Heel tech firms, with September accounting for only three of those deals. Here is LocalTechWire’s exclusive list of deals in the state, ranked according to the amount raised:
