ClarkPowell, a regional provider of professional video and audio/visual presentation systems and consulting services, has opened a new RTP location.

The company says the move provides more office space for its growth, and brings the company closer to its local customers. ClarkPowell originally opened its Triangle office in Raleigh in 1995.

“The demand for our services is greatest in RTP because of the growing number of high-tech companies moving to that location,” ClarkPowell President John Bluhm said in a statement. “When we outgrew our Raleigh space, moving into RTP seemed like the obvious choice.”

ClarkPowell sells, leases and rents complete systems for audio/video presentation, video broadcast and production needs to businesses of all sizes. The company services more than 300 clients out of the Triangle office, including Duke University Athletics, N.C. State University and Athletics, UNC-Chapel Hill, N.C. Global TransPark Authority, Environmental Protection Agency, Sprint, Wachovia Mortgage, N.C. Department of Administration and Local Government, as well as dozens of small to mid-size businesses.
