RALEIGH … Two major venture deals last week added more than $21 million for North Carolina technology companies.

Serenex raised $15 million and TEAMM Pharmaceuticals added $16.5 million.

The NC deal list also still includes announced closings for APPGate, but the company closed down earlier this month. According to The Business Journal in Raleigh, the company shut down when its investors withdrew money already committed.
