Extreme Logic, a provider of e-business solutions using the Microsoft Windows platform, has named Jeff Meyer as the director of a new division that will be focused on managing and enhancing the existing networks of its clients.

Meyer previously worked as director of professional services for Colorado-based Expanets, a 1996 spin-off of Northwestern Corporation (NYSE: NOR) that grew through the acquisition of 26 local networking providers, including a division of Lucent Technologies.

Earlier this month, Extreme Logic added a network security division and appointed Tari Schreider, author of the book “Encyclopedia of Disaster Recovery, Security & Risk Management,” as its director.

The company also recently appointed two executives to its board of directors.

Privately-held Extreme Logic, launched in 1993 under the guise of Omni Technology Centers, generated $35 million in revenue for 2000 and $12.3 million during first quarter 2001, according to a statement released by the company. Extreme Logic hasn’t put out an earnings statement since that time.
