CHARLOTTE … Digital Broadband Networks (OTC:DBBD) reported a loss of $103,205 on $7 million in revenue for the first six months of the year, compared with a $323,093 loss on $1.7 million in revenue during the first half of 2001.

The company, which set up its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte in early June, recently formed EyStar Media as a subsidiary to market its EyStar SmartHome Console in North America and to acquire U.S.-based technology companies to develop value-added applications that complement the company’s operations. Digital Broadband also owns Malaysian-based Animated Electronic Industries and its subsidiary, Perwimas Telecommunications.
