RALEIGH … TogetherSoft plans to co-host a series of seminars targeted at the software development industry with Starbase (Nasdaq: SBASD), a Santa Ana, Calif.-based provider of enterprise application management solutions for the software development life cycle.
The series, entitled “Building Better Applications: The End-to-End Integrated Solution,” features the three flagship products from Raleigh-based TogetherSoft, Starbase and Mercury Interactive of Sunnyvale, Calif. Combined, these solutions provide tools to increase team productivity, reduce development costs and improve software quality.
Planned for Aug. 13-21, the seminars will be held in Charlotte, Atlanta, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver, San Francisco and Washington, DC. The Atlanta seminar will be held Aug. 14 at Cobb Galleria, and the event in Charlotte will be on Aug. 21 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. All seminars last from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Attendees will learn how to better oversee the entire software development process, including managing requirements, synchronizing models and code, building and deploying applications and ensuring high-quality applications through functional and performance testing. Product demonstrations from participating companies will include TogetherSoft’s ControlCenter, Starbase’s CaliberRM and StarTeam and Mercury Interactive’s TestDirector.
“The integration of these product lines creates a best-of-breed solution covering the entire application development life cycle,” Keith Boswell, vice president of marketing and business development for TogetherSoft, said in a statement. “We are excited to participate in this joint seminar series and demonstrate to software development teams how our integrated solutions increase team productivity and create predictable software results.”
