BUFORD,Theragenics Corp. (NYSE: TGX), which has developed a miniature device for the treatment of prostate cancer, is revamping its management team.

James Maclennan, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer of Lanier Worldwide, will take over as Theragenics’ CFO on Aug. 15.

Bruce Smith, the current CFO for the past 13 years and a Theragenics employee for 15 years, will become executive vice president for strategy, development and acquisitions on the 15th, the company said.
