The beleaguered North Carolina Technology Development Authority has hired a public relations firm.

TrianglePR, which focuses on small- and mid-sized businesses, has been hired to the TDA to handle its communications. In recent months, the TDA has seen its state appropriation frozen and several board members resign amid questions over the organization’s spending practices.

Triangle PR also has landed several other technology businesses as clients recently, including broadband network provider Telesyn, search engine marketing service keywordranking.com and Relevant Automation, a reseller of a sales and marketing software system.
