LIPSinc is no more, The News & Observer reports today.

According to The N&O, the company’s board ordered the shutdown and the 14 employees were told on Monday.

LIPSinc had tried to stay alive with a variety of moves earlier this year. On May 1, as reported by Local Tech Wire, LIPSinc reorganized its management team with Paul Rasmussen brought in as chief executive officer. He had served LIPSinc previously as a consultant. The company also went through a series of layoffs.

And just last week, LIPSinc introduced a new product.

Donovan Moxey, the company’s founder, tells The N&O he wants to work with the company through the shutdown phase.
