Global accounting firm Grant Thornton LLP has acquired the Raleigh office of Arthur Andersen, as well as additional middle market partners and staff from the Chicago, San Francisco and Boston Andersen offices.

A total of ten partners and 41 additional employees will join Grant Thornton in the deals. Grant Thornton has already acquired some former Andersen offices in Charlotte, Columbia, Greensboro, Milwaukee, Orlando, Albuquerque and Tulsa, and additional Andersen middle market partners and professionals in New York, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Cleveland, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Vienna (VA) and Tampa, totaling 53 partners and 442 additional employees.
