Scientific-Atlanta’s GainMaker amplifier,which is designed to deliver interactive on-demand content, recently passed the one-millionth unit sold milestone with a shipment to Charter Communications.
Charter Communications has selected a variety of Scientific-Atlanta HFC network products to upgrade its networks, including Scientific-Atlanta’s Prisma DT System, which the cable operator is using to interconnect headends and hubs for the seamless, long haul transport of services to consumers. In addition, Charter is using Scientific-Atlanta’s Continuum Plus headend offering, Prisma II Fiberoptic platform.
