Tangram Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: TESI), a company in the lifecycle IT asset management market, has appointed John Charnovich as senior vice president and chief information officer.

Charnovich brings nearly 20 years of technology leadership experience, with particular emphasis in the enterprise software arena, to Tangram. Prior to joining the Cary-based company, Charnovich served as vice president of technology and operations for Plurimus Corporation, a venture backed Internet market intelligence/e-commerce software company.

Charnovich has also held various technology management positions at Motorola, Compaq and BDM Technologies. He assumes the senior technology position at Tangram following the departure of Steve Kuekes, Tangram’s former chief technology officer.

In a related matter, the company reported that Steve Kuekes has also resigned his position as a member of Tangram’s Board of Directors.
