CHARLOTTE -iReadyWorld, which installs, manages and supports computers, networks and voice-over-Internet services for a variety of business customers, has a new boss, a new round of funding and is expanding.
The Charlotte firm says it has raised $6 million from Total technology Ventures of Atlanta (lead), Greenspring Ventures and Red Badge Ventures. iReadyWorld, which was founded in 2000, has now raised $10 million.
Jeffrey Freemyer also is the new chairman and chief executive officer. The company says Freemyer will oversee expansion of the company’s offices in Charlotte and Atlanta. Freemyer formerly worked at Convergent Media Systems.
