Twenty-six years of combined experience led to the formation of Alpheon Corporation, a new Computer Support Provid (CSP), which offers computer maintenance solutions for small to medium sized businesses in the Triangle.

The firm provides numerous services including planning, implementation and product selection as well as proactive system maintenance programs. Technology industry veterans Greg Donovan, who’s worked for Microsoft, and David Sturdivant, who founded and grew a professional services organization, created Alpheon.

“Alpheon provides assistance for Triangle businesses in making the most effective decisions for network upgrade planning and on-going computer support,” Donovan, chief executive officer, said in a statement. “We provide solutions to companies who don’t have an in-house IT person or need to augment existing staff. We have created an innovative approach to selecting and maintaining computer systems that keeps one desktop or a network of computers working in peak condition – all the time.”

With five companies already using its services, Alpheon projects that by the end of 2002, it will be supporting the computer maintenance needs of over 50 Triangle companies.
